This year’s Easter Jeep Safari™ featured incredible concept vehicles that pushed the boundaries of adventure beyond what many thought capable. From electrified off-road powerhouses to vintage vehicles that celebrate the past, 2023 saw an imaginative lineup of legendary trucks and SUVs.

JEEP® WRANGLER MAGNETO 3.0 CONCEPT
Who doesn’t love a legendary trilogy? The Magneto 3.0 Concept builds on the legacy of its predecessors, delivering a truly electrifying experience. 650 maximum horsepower, 900 pound-feet of maximum torque, a two-stage Regeneration Mode and an aggressive Hill Descent Mode are all added to the third iteration, making it clear that the Jeep Wrangler Magneto 3.0 Concept is much more than lightning in a bottle.
JEEP® SCRAMBLER 392 CONCEPT
In 1981, we introduced the Jeep® Scrambler CJ-8, our first convertible, compact truck. 40 years later, the Jeep Scrambler 392 Concept puts a powerful twist on a vintage ride. Housed in a two-door frame featuring custom carbon fiber bodywork, the snarling 6.4L HEMI® V8 engine delivers 470 maximum horsepower and 470 pound-feet of maximum torque. Plus, the newly released AccuAir® Air Suspension offers a suspension lift ranging from 1.5 and 5.5 inches that can be adjusted on the fly.
1978 JEEP® CHEROKEE 4xe CONCEPT
A tribute to the Jeep® Cherokee SJ, the 1978 Jeep Cherokee 4xe Concept is a first-of-its kind vehicle with on- and off-road chops. This resto-mod build blends together the original SJ, the 2022 Wrangler Rubicon 4xe and an unmistakably ‘70s-themed multicolor paint scheme. So, even though it has a glossy retro exterior, the 1978 Jeep Cherokee 4xe Concept is a modern, electrified off-road performer to the core.
JEEP® WRANGLER RUBICON 4xe CONCEPT
The Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon 4xe Concept ups the ante on bold design, taking inspiration from the beloved special-run Tuscadero exterior paint color. The result? A vibrant magenta concept vehicle that’s tough as nails. The exterior boasts an eye-catching pink paint finish, Gloss Black accents sprinkled across the front grille and headlamp bezels and a custom hood graphic with a tone-on-tone print–and that is just the beginning.
GRAND WAGONEER OVERLAND CONCEPT
You may have been glamping, but you’ve never overlanded in this Wagoneer concept vehicle. The Grand Wagoneer Overland Concept features a custom RedTail Overland Skyloft, two oversized bean bags that complement its interior entertainment when parked for the night, a plush throw rug as well as many more incredible custom creature comforts. Plus, its 3.0L Hurricane Twin Turbo 510 engine is designed to take adventure seekers farther from the beaten path.
JEEP® WRANGLER RUBICON 4xe DEPARTURE ANGLE CONCEPT
The dreams of off-roaders and rock crawlers helped create the Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon 4xe Departure Angle Concept and its endless off-road innovations. 17x8.5-inch Vintage Bronze KMC Impact OL wheels, 37-inch BFGoodrich tires, a Jeep Performance Parts 2-inch lift kit with new Bilstein® performance shock absorbers, custom flat-fender flares, Jeep Performance Parts tube doors… We could go on and on, but we’re running out of room.
JEEP® GLADIATOR RUBICON SIDEBURN CONCEPT
The Jeep® Gladiator Rubicon Sideburn Concept delivers new innovative tools to help new and seasoned off-road adventurers. It features a custom-designed tubular grille guard that doubles the perfect relaxation perch for two, a modified Rubicon bumper with a WARN® winch, a pair of removable 11-inch TYRI rectangular LED lights attached to each of the roof panels and much more.
JEEP® WRANGLER MAGNETO 2.0 CONCEPT
The sequel. The Jeep® Wrangler Magneto 2.0 Concept had its wheelbase stretched an additional 12 inches, compared to a two-door Wrangler, and was equipped with 40-inch mud-terrain tires. Plus, the Wrangler Magneto 2.0 Concept delivered an electrifying 625 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque.
JEEP® RUBICON 20TH ANNIVERSARY CONCEPT
The Jeep® Rubicon 20th Anniversary Concept represented the ultimate expression of the Wrangler lineup. It took 20 years of off-roading experience and applied everything Jeep Brand designers learned to a factory-direct Wrangler Rubicon.
JEEP® PERFORMANCE PARTS/MOPAR® BIRDCAGE CONCEPT
Legendary open-air freedom was taken to the extreme. Featuring cutting-edge custom Jeep® Performance Parts and Mopar® innovation, the Jeep Performance Parts/Mopar Birdcage Concept brought legendary 4x4 capability and 4xe hybrid technology to the toughest trails in the world.
JEEP® ’41 CONCEPT
Nostalgia was in the air at Easter Jeep Safari™ 2022. The Jeep® ’41 Concept celebrated the brand’s military history, its electric future and 80 years of 4x4 leadership. It was a seamless combination of grit, determination, history and legendary 4xe technology.
JEEP® BOB CONCEPT
Take a look at the terrain-tackling, cargo-hauling Jeep® Brand 4x4 of your dreams. One part Wrangler and one part Gladiator, the Jeep Bob Concept united two legendary vehicles for a truck with the departure angle of an SUV and a daring vision of open-air freedom.
GRAND CHEROKEE TRAILHAWK® 4xe CONCEPT
The Jeep® Grand Cherokee Trailhawk® 4xe Concept was built on a foundation of legendary capability. Featuring increased wheel openings, compared to the production Grand Cherokee 4xe, and outfitted with 33-inch mud-terrain tires, this electrified SUV took overlanders into the wild.
THE JEEP® JEEPSTER BEACH CONCEPT
The 2021 Jeep® Jeepster Beach Concept blends the vintage look of the 1960s Jeepster Commando with the 2020 Wrangler Rubicon. Under the glossy hood, there was a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum 340 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque.
JEEP® MAGNETO CONCEPT
Debuting at Moab in 2021, the Jeep® Magneto Concept embodied the Jeep Brand’s eco-friendly vision for the future. A battery electric vehicle with legendary 4x4 capability, Magneto was a zero-emission concept born from uncompromising Jeep Brand electrification.
JEEP® GLADIATOR M-715 FIVE QUARTER CONCEPT
What happens if you put a Hellcrate HEMI® V8 engine in a Jeep® Gladiator? You’d get the 2019 Five Quarter concept vehicle. Featuring the look of a historic M715 truck, the Jeep Gladiator M715 Five Quarter Concept was outfitted with a 6.2L HEMI SRT Hellcat V8 engine to deliver over 700 horsepower.
JEEP® JT SCRAMBLER CONCEPT
The Jeep® JT Scrambler Concept celebrates the CJ8 Scrambler pickup. The white Gladiator Rubicon from Easter Jeep Safari™ 2019 featured a retro stripe package and a vintage amber hardtop. Plus, a lift kit, rock rails and other Jeep Performance Parts added a little edge to classic style.
THE JEEP® NACHO CONCEPT
Reimagining the JL Wrangler, the Jeep® Nacho Concept, which took its name from its paint color, debuted at Easter Jeep Safari™ 2018. Outfitted with a bevy of Jeep Performance Parts, a 2.0L turbocharged I4 engine and LED lighting, this concept vehicle was one of the bright spots at Moab.
JEEP® 4SPEED CONCEPT
The Jeep® 4Speed Concept embodied a “less is more” philosophy by shedding 950 pounds. To lighten its load, this concept vehicle said goodbye to its doors, roof, rear seats and radio and said hello to carbon fiber components and lightweight wheels.
WAGONEER ROADTRIP CONCEPT
Using the 1965 Wagoneer SJ as its base, the Wagoneer Road Trip Concept was designed for incredible on-road comfort. From Dana® 44 axles to a multilink rear suspension and a 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine, Jeep® Brand engineers were focused on creating a superb passenger vehicle.
THE JEEP® QUICKSAND CONCEPT
One of the more audacious designs in recent Moab history, the 2016 Jeep® Quicksand Concept reimagined the Wrangler Rubicon as a vintage hot rod. In the spirit of Easter Jeep Safari™, there were plenty of easter eggs hidden in its design and a powerful 392 Crate HEMI® V8 engine under its hood.
JEEP® LUMINATOR CONCEPT
The Jeep® Luminator Concept lit up Easter Jeep Safari™ 2017. Built in collaboration with Magneti Marelli, Luminator featured an LED bar mounted on the hood, LED spotlights on the A-pillar and LED projector bifunctional headlamps among its collection of striking exterior design features.
JEEP® TRAILPASS CONCEPT
Mopar® and Jeep® Performance Parts helped take Compass performance to new heights at Easter Jeep Safari™ 2018. Outfitted with a new chassis, a 1.5-inch suspension increase and 18-inch wheels, this rugged Trailhawk® upgrade featured incredible off-road capability.
JEEP® CREW CHIEF 715 CONCEPT
A modern take on the Kaiser M715, the Jeep® Crew Chief 715 Concept paid tribute to the Jeep Brand’s military history at Easter Jeep Safari™ 2016. Big and bold in every way, it featured a 139-inch wheelbase, a 5-foot steel bed, 4-inch lift kit, 20-inch beadlock-capable wheels and much more.
