2020-PRESENT

The Jeep® Brand began this decade by reflecting the different needs of adventure lovers, bringing back a classic and introducing future-facing technology. The momentum started in 2019 when the Jeep Brand re-introduced the Jeep Gladiator pickup and entered the new decade with a bang by launching the first-ever three-row Jeep Grand Cherokee L, the incredibly powerful Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 and two of the many upcoming future-facing plug-in hybrid electric vehicles—the all-new Jeep Wrangler 4xe and the two-row Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, coming spring 2022. Moving forward, the all-new Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer take the premium SUV class into uncharted territories of style, comfort and adventure and the new Jeep Compass comes complete with experience-enhancing interior and capability upgrades.

AN EXTENSION OF THE JOURNEY

To start the 2020s, the Jeep® Brand has made a huge impact on the SUV and pickup truck markets by reintroducing the Gladiator after 32 years and releasing an available 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine for both Gladiator and Wrangler. The next year was even more of a leap with the launch of the all-new Grand Cherokee L with third-row seating and the releases of the powerful Wrangler Rubicon 392 and the Wrangler 4xe. In the following year, the Jeep Brand introduced a two-row Grand Cherokee that comes in 4xe, the legendary Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer and the upgraded Compass. A new journey has just begun.

Upon its release, the Gladiator immediately threw down the gauntlet, challenging every other pickup truck in its class with its incredible towing and hauling capacity.

Do not attempt water fording unless depth is known and consistent with the vehicle’s water fording rating in the Owner’s Manual. Traversing water can cause damage that may not be covered by the new vehicle warranty. Always off road responsibly in approved areas.

The Gladiator interior was built to make adventure happen. COMING SPRING 2022
COMING SPRING 2022
2022-PRESENT JEEP® GRAND CHEROKEE 4xe (WL)

The next evolution of the Jeep® Grand Cherokee is here—and it’s electrically exciting. As the first-ever Grand Cherokee PHEV, the new 4xe version boasts the power and ruggedness the Jeep Brand is known for but with the quiet comfort of a plug-in hybrid, letting you get closer to the sounds of nature.

When it comes to performance, the 4xe is built to keep you on the go. It’s powered by a 2.0L I4 DOHC direct-injection Turbo PHEV engine that features nearly silent operation with seamless starts and stops. Its 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of instant torque provide impressive performance both on and off-road.

Do not attempt water fording unless depth is known and consistent with the vehicle’s water fording rating in the Owner’s Manual. Traversing water can cause damage that may not be covered by the new vehicle warranty. Always off road responsibly in approved areas.

It’s no secret that the Jeep® Brand is known for its legendary 4x4 capability—and the same goes for the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. This awe-inspiring plug-in hybrid features a choice of two off-road-enhancing 4x4 systems: the Quadra-Trac II® and the Quadra-Drive® II with rear ELSD. For off-roading precision, it comes with the Jeep Selec-Trac® System with five settings for a variety of terrains. The standard PHEV electrical component underbody protection and the water-sealed battery with up to 24 inches of protection when water fording help to protect the important electronic systems of the 4xe from the unrelenting elements.

Take on the challenge your way with three different driving modes. The default mode, Hybrid, combines torque from both the engine and the electric motors. This combination provides maximum horsepower, instant torque and the best acceleration. When the battery has more than a 1% charge, it can run in Electric Mode. This allows for nearly zero tailpipe emissions up to highway speeds. The 4xe can run in this mode for up to 25 miles. eSave Mode prioritizes the gas engine. This saves the battery charge for future electrifying adventures.
